Boardlordz is a free app for climbing training boards: browse and search the problems set on your board, light them up over Bluetooth, log what you climb, build sessions, and see which holds you lean on. It is made by climbers for climbers and will stay free, with no ads and no sale of data.
Where the climbs come from
Every problem in Boardlordz was set by a climber on a MoonBoard, Kilter or Tension board and published through that board's own app. We show the setter's name on every climb. We read each board's catalog the way the open-source community does, with one account of our own, read-only, at most once a night.
If you choose to connect your own Kilter or Tension account, we sign in once with the details you type, keep only the token the board app returns (encrypted), and use it to read your logbook. Your password is never stored, and Disconnect in Settings forgets the token.
Boardlordz is not affiliated with or endorsed by Moon Climbing, Aurora Climbing, Kilter Grips or any board manufacturer. Board names are used only to say which boards the app works with. Board and hold images are shown so climbs are readable on a real wall; they are not offered as a dataset.
Takedowns and corrections
If you are a setter, a board maker or a rights holder and want a climb, a setter's climbs or a board's imagery hidden, email support@boardlordz.com. We act on these requests without argument, usually the same day.
Open source we build on
The Bluetooth protocol for Aurora boards is ported from Boardsesh (Apache 2.0). Catalog access uses boardlib. Thank you to both.
